TAoB: Espresso
Course date: Thursday 11th June 2026 (6:30pm - 8:30pm)
Each course is designed to help you elevate your coffee brewing experience at home in a considered and fun way, using your chosen method. We'll bring together a mixture of sensory training, practical demos and workshops, alongside a space for FAQ and curated feedback related to your unique brewing set up.
The Art of Brewing is for home brewers of all levels - everyone is welcome.
This course focusses on espresso.
Here's what's included:

A sensory and cupping experience, using coffees from different origins, processing methods and producers, including an introduction to Cultura's philosophy of coffee.

Espresso brewing demos - covering different shot styles to help you maximise the potential of every drink.

Extraction theory - you'll learn how espresso actually happens inside your machine, as well as what you can do to get the best tasting extractions possible.

Milk workshop - we'll teach you the foolproof way to texture milk for great tasting flat whites/cappuccinos etc, as well as providing the base for practicing latte art!
